Beginning Android 3 is available in Kindle format, and you can download a free Kindle client program from Amazon for your PC if you don't have a Kindle device.

Are you talking about programming android ? I skimmed through that book a while back and it was useful (albeit some of the examples in the code needed minor corrections to get them to work)

Just want to share...

Programming Android, Early Release 2nd Edition, is more like a school text book or a reference book.

It is nice, if I am not a beginner.

If you are a beginner, use another book, even if you are a java expert.

If you are a java expert, but you are an android beginner you can still use it but you may need to make at least 2 passes - 1 to skim, next to read as if you are not a total beginner anymore.

Otherwise, you can get drowned or overwhelmed.
