Welcome to CodeRanch! What is your undergraduate/graduate degree in? I'm guessing math, but it could be something else.
When looking for a job, target an industry that you can use both your math (or whatever your degree is in) skills and programming skills. For example, programming for an insurance company. That way your ability to pick up to business differentiates you from all the computer science graudates. Beyond that, same advice as any grad - learn a lot, try to get an internship/etc.
