I'm setting up a MongoDB database. I have a few tables (from the RDBMS world) and I would like to model these tables as collections. These tables contain data that are kind of like master data. They needed to be inserted only once. I would like to do an initial import and populate these four collections before I start my application. Any idea on how to do this? The problem here is that all of these 4 collections have a one to many relation with each other. I know that it is dumb to think about relations in NoSQL context or at least the mongoDB's context. But I would like to know how I can use the objectId of collection 1 to be stored as a reference to collection 2 and all this during the initial import.
