I am presently working for a product based company in bangalore for past 1 year. My total experience is 1 year 8 months in IT industry. My company has its own framework which is very domain specific and there is no learning curve and i am really worried. I really want to work on other j2ee frameworks. Is this the right time to look for other jobs or should i wait till i have 2 years work experience? Presently i am working on Java, Sql, Rsa, Xml technologies. How do i proceed from here to startup a career in struts, hibernate, spring technologies? Thanks in advance

You can do a number of things

1. While working at the current job to complete a 2 year tenure, you can engage in open-source contribution and self-taught projects to learn the sought after frameworks / technologies. Most good developers are self-taught. Getting some experience on your CV
2. Once you gain experience, add that to your CV.
3. After completing 2 years, look for a position that will enhance your experience in these sought-after technologies/frameworks
