Hi all
I am trying to create tag that will display images / bullets in the Jsp page,
the content its rendering is binary from clob in the db,
So the body will output:


My question is what class to inherit from struts?

I tried extending TagSupport
but because the page is mixed mime (text & jpg)
i get exception :


Any help will be appreciated

I'd suggest you create a separate action class just for downloading the image that gets the data from the BLOB and outputs it to the HTTPServletResponse object's output stream and returns a null ActionForward. Then just use an <img> or <html:img> tag in your JSP to call the action and display the image where required. You can still create a single custom tag that incorporates a number of <img> tags if you want to.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
