Have a look at the screenshot below. How do I make the text little bit aligned away from the radio button?

CSS, just like any other styling issue.

Depending upon how the markup is coded, I'd suggest using a left margin. But hard to say without the markup.

If you decide to post the markup, be sure that it does not include server-side code, that you UseCodeTags, and that is it is properly formatted.

I use the Struts s:radio tag and I had cssClass in that but there seems to be no styling at all in the rendered HTML.

Threw away the struts cssClass and used my own. Looks fine now.

One thing... I'd avoid using <br> for vertical stacking. I'd use <div> elements -- gives you a lot more control.
