I've been having a problem with netbeans and cvs.
I have a netbeans project I created. Rather than use the netbeans interface to import it into CVS, I used TortoiseCVS to import the code.

I would like to configure the project to know that it is a CVS project, but I just can't figure out how to do it.
I can't import it to cvs because it's already there.

Is there some way to manually configure the project to point it at its cvs repository?

What I would do is delete the project from NetBeans and then check it out of CVS. This will give you a new project in NetBeans that is synched with the project in CVS.

I tried that, with no success.

What's odd is that I also checked out other projects from cvs, and they aren't being treated as cvs-controlled either.

Just to be sure, you did the checkout in NetBeans: Team | CVS | Checkout

Yes, I did.

Seems to be a problem with 7.1.1

I installed 7.2 and I am not having these problems. (Shame that 7.2 occaisonally flat-out crashes).
