Hi Niko,

Welcome to CodeRanch!

I would like to mention few things:

Firstly, please go through FAQ section of this forum.

Secondly, please UseRealWords and TellTheDetails. What exactly do you mean by solutions? If you are looking for ready-made solutions for one/more questions, please bear in mind that this is NotACodeMill. We encourage people to ShowSomeEffort and learn on their own.

Beyond everything, if you have any problem/doubt with any specific code, fee free to discuss. We are here to help each other!

I hope this helps.

Well, buying a solution or stealing it from others, neither of them is going to help you in learning Java.. And in future also you will say.. "I'm new to Java"..
So, better try to solve your problem yourself.. and then if you have any doubt with your code, post it here, we'll have a look into it.

A interesting ethical distinction, but both are regarded as "cheating" in academic circles.

Also: that 'life solution' only works as long as you:
(a) Have the money to do it.
(b) Are clever enough to hide the fact that you're plagiarizing (and strangely enough, examiners - and some HR departments - do familiarize themselves with "ready made solutions" available on the Net).

And if you're clever enough to do (b), why not just do the work? You might surprise yourself and even enjoy it.

Why are you using the 2nd edition? That is probably well over ten years out of date.

There's no need to throw a hissy fit. That's NOT what you said in your first post.

As for a guide, this isn't Amazon. Try Google.

In that case, you really should have written what you wanted "To buy the guide for the book" in your first post only.. We wouldn't have to come this far to understand what you wanted...
And Winston's last post would have been 1st and last in this topic (Amazon one)..

Don't expect people here to come up with various probabilities for what you might be asking..
Better be clear, and then you will never need to post a post like the one you did just now (Taking yourself as Criminal)

Please make sure that these are legit links and do not do any copyright infringements.

I believe that 'Thinking in Java' is copyrighted and have a serious doubt that the linked soft copy might be pirated one. Not absolutely sure though.

Judging by the many girls with few clothes who appeared when I tried those links, I am going to assume they are copyright infringements and have removed them from the previous posts. Since I have paid for TiJ 4th edition, I would not have seen anything I hadn’t paid for already. (I mean books, not girls ‍)

In future please make sure only to post legitimate links.

But the download links wouldn’t open, anyway.

with trivial (and i do mean trivial) effort you should find that the annotated solution guide 3rd edition, has all of the solutions to the 2nd edition also. so just get that.

but as was asked, why are you using the 2nd edition?

You do realise you can download the entire text of the 3rd edition? Try here. It is still probably severely out of date, however.
