you see, i want to submit a form to an external link. when my client submit it, i want to delete some information from the session object. how can i achieve this?

hi,

you can do one thing inside submit code you can call a method which will delete your session data.


like <input type="submit" onClick="your method">

A Javascript function to delete session object??

probably he mean, call a servlet and invalidate session before submitting..

@Tianpeng : in which application do you want to clear session? is it source application?

Indeed. I was wrongly thinking that below one is possible...


So the solution is call a servlet , invalidate session and then redirect with query string(form datas) to another application.
