On Mac OSX 10.7.4 with Java 1.6, I've been unable to localize JFileChooser to Locale("he", "IW") even though the Locale appears on the getAvailableLocales() list. I can localize it to Locale.GERMAN and get a valid result.

Does anyone have a JFileChooser for Israeli Hebrew they'd share?

Thanks,

Chris Kimball

Is Israel really IW? Isn’t it IL or ISR?

It's IW moving to IL. I tried both. The Locale.getavailableLocales() returns an IW value, I used that specific Locale, from the list, for JFileChooser.

I think the Locale is un-implemented. It didn't work on a Windows 7 system, either.

Thanks,

Chris
