I have read a recet posting regarding the esapi-2.0.1.jar needs to have the following done to it in order for it to be able to execute without any server errors:

In my experience the ESAPI.properties file either needs to be in the same folder as the esapi.jar or needs to be compiled into the jar in a resources directory.

I do not know how to compile a jar with a properties file.

Can anyone steer me in the right drection?

Thanks,

P.S. The reason why I am using a .jar instead of serlets is that I have multiple workspaces.

Actually if a file is simply put (not really compiled) into a jar file, it will be available as a resource to the class loader.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
