howdy,

hey needed a little help in this please give help i am really stuck, i am running this simple program in struts when i remove <html: text property="name" maxlength="30"/> line it runs perfectly but when i use this it gives an eror saying:

javax.servlet.ServletException: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Cannot find bean: "org.apache.struts.taglib.html.BEAN" in any scope

I have added all tld and jar fires in it but still problem is coming.

above tag is used with the below tag

form present for the above form tag should have property named in html:text tag's property tag.

you can search for a sample application for struts 1.x in google where you can find a valid use of the html:text tag.
