I have a property file used by my ant process.
It needs concatenated to the beginning or end of another property.

The simplest example is shell scripting:
unitTestPath=/home/me/xxx/lib
PATH=${unitTestPath}:$PATH

can properties do something like this? I am not finding it in the anything on the web

Yes they can, and I think you are pretty close on the syntax as well.

Yep the syntax worked.

in the property file
prop1=foo
prop2=bar
prop3=baz
prop4=${prop1},${prop2},${prop4}
