This week, we're delighted to have Keith Wood here to launch the new MEAP (Manning early access program) book Extending jQuery and answer questions about it. See the table of contents or a sample chapter

This innovative program allows subscribers to fast-track their knowledge on a particular by reading a book chapter-by-chapter as it is released. Receive the final eBook as soon as it's finished.

The promotion starts Monday, September 10th 2012 and will end on Friday, September 14th 2012.

We'll be selecting four random posters in this forum to win a free MEAP subscription provided by the publisher, Manning.

Please see the Book Promotion page to ensure your best chances at winning!

Welcome, Keith! Should be a great week! One of the great strengths of jQuery is its designed ability to be extended. Looking forward to the discussions and to reading the book.

Welcome Keith, I am excited to hear what you have to say on jQuery, I am relatively new to the whole javascript scene and jQuery is so intrinsic to modern javascript it will be great to hear how it can be manipulated.
