how to install tomcat 7 in eclipse getting problem ?

i downloaded tomcat 7.0.30 as a zip file. then i added tomcat in eclipse juno. i started the server and it started. when i opened my browser and typed http://localhost:8080 it gave me 404 error. i tried using http://127.0.0.1:8080 but same problem. i checked my hosts file and it is fine . when i added tomcat to netbeans however it worked fine. please help me as am struggling from past 1 day
