Need to populate the implicit header attributes using Apache Axis code

Hi ,
I need to create a soap request xml and then send it to a web service .
The request xml should be like the below one :

 <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ws="http://ws.account.ibm.com">
   <soapenv:Header>
      <applicationPw>pass1234</applicationPw>
      <applicationId>Ayan</applicationId>
   </soapenv:Header>
   <soapenv:Body>
      <ws:authenticateUser>
         <userId>Ayan</userId>
         <password>pass1234</password>
      </ws:authenticateUser>
   </soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>

I want to know how to create the following part using Axis 1

<soapenv:Header>
      <applicationPw>pass1234</applicationPw>
      <applicationId>Ayan</applicationId>
   </soapenv:Header>

I am trying with the below code

SOAPHeaderElement headerElement;
			SOAPElement soapElement;
			
			headerElement = new SOAPHeaderElement("http://ws.account.ibm.com","");
		    headerElement.setMustUnderstand(false);
		    soapElement = headerElement.addChildElement("applicationId");
		    soapElement.addTextNode("Ayan");
		    soapElement = headerElement.addChildElement("applicationPw");
		    soapElement.addTextNode("pass1234");
		     
		    stub.setHeader(headerElement);

But that is throwing the exception 'org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup. Message being parsed: '

Can anybody please help me in this regard ?
