I have a node which I am accessing from a DOM parser. The problem I am facing is although i have specified the node to be of "Node" type, sometimes it is by itself getting cast to DifferedElementImpl type and giving me an error. I have checked the class and package type being used, they are the same. Is there any way I can cast DifferedElementImpl to Node type?

First: Please TellTheDetails (←click). Without some code (and I do mean some code - we don't want your entire application; just the relevant bits), there's very little we can do to help.

Second: The only class I can find that comes even close is DefferedElementImpl from the Apache Xerces package; and that extends from NodeImpl, not Node.
