Hello all,

I am in a situation like this.

I am going to create a software, for a doctor. He is asking for a feature which displays the prescription details before he prints it. I have seen such programs displaying them with a heading and all. As you and I know, they display the data in the exact way it is printed. After some research (and as I thoguht), this can be done by a reporting tool; isn't it? If yes, what reporting tool should I use? Whatever it is, I got 1 week to learn it. And, I use Netbeans. Please let me know what should I learn, and please tell me the easiest way of learning it too (Link appreciated, And please provide learning resources which I can learn it from the beginner's level to some usable level. I don't appreciate tutorials which teach you 1, then jump to 10 anyway). Please help.

Check Jaspersoft iReport. There is a plugin available for NetBeans, and it's pretty straightforward and easy to use. Here are some tutorials you might want to check, too.
