Hi,

I am a graphic designer, working in Qatar, having 8 years of experience overall + Masters in Multimedia from Ireland, want to work in SIngapore, please let me know is it ok to go on visit and apply there for jobs, please give me some links & contacts over there. currently I am in India for 2 months, please let me know, want to settle down in singapore.Thanks

That approach is not ideal but it's not an uncommon either. I worked in Singapore for 5 years and that's actually the way I did it, going over there on a Visitor Pass, then looking for work and converting to an Employment Pass. It's been over 10 years since I've left Singapore and I don't know if they have any new policies about converting from Visitor to Employment Pass.

Now days SG govt. not encouraging employment pass. Most of the jobs are for locals. You can still try provided your skill set is rare and not easy to get locally. But chances are 50-50. Since coming on social visit and searching for job involves significant money think twice. Did you tried for any job in Ireland because you studied there. The chances are higher for you to get a job in Ireland. Anyways good luck!
