Hi,

I have a query: When there are some exceptions coming in production environment, what all methods could we use to notify the exceptions to some list of persons in real time ? Means as soon as the exception occur , concerned person should get notified (may be by email) ? I know for email we can use JavaMail API but to reach till EMAIL code what all methods/conditions/ways we can use ?

Hi,

SMTPAppender from log4j provides the facility to sending email whenever the error occurred in the application.
