Hi all,

I was doing some reading on Java and I stumbled upon Dependency Injection. Can anyone give me an explanation for its purpose? Preferably in an easier way to understand.

edit: I have found several links to DI on StackOverflow and reddit. It seems like I already follow a format like this, but my understanding of it is unclear

Help would be appreciataed :-)
