i've made an smiley face in applet .. now what i want is that, when i move my mouse over the smiley it will change to sad face ....
i am not getting it .... so please suggest me .....

You need to add a 'mouse over' listener!

MouseListener has methods mouseEntered(...) and mouseExited(...).
 
Do the next thing next. That’s a pretty good rule. Read the tiny ad, that’s a pretty good rule, too.
