Hi Friends

Good Morning to you all and thank you so much for your quick responses.. i have one doubt in netbeans.. that is, when we want to save the file in another name for further reference after editing some codes, we will use the "save as" options to save it in another location.. similarly, i would like to save the project using "save as" project option.. is there any way to do this.. please tell me the way..

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Bala

This is a NetBeans question, not a Tomcat question. Moving it to the NetBeans forum.

Unfortunately there is no "save as" option for the project. But you can "copy" the project to another location and use this as your backup or reference.

If you want to move a project, you should close the project in NetBeans, move the directory and then open the project in a new location.

However, if your goal is to be able to return to an earlier version, far better option would be to use a version control system. In my opinion these are great for small and hobby projects too. I personally would recommend a distributed version control system, such as git or Mercurial, since these seem the easiest to use in small (one user) environments.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
