when i installs oralce ,mysql,postgreSql,..&etc database softwares all the drivers related supportable files will be installed ?
why i have to set DSN for type-1(jdbc-odbc) driver in windows xp,..?..why not for other drivers i dont want DSN settings ?
Like Windows OS other Os will gives such built-in jdbc dirver installation..?

when the Type-1,Type-2...etc drivers are installed into our system? in the installation of time database software will the installed or we have to explicitly install drivers?
please tell me taking any database software as example?
