Yes, a 200 pound squat requires focus and effort, but only when you're in the gym. I don't think about squats when I'm at work or surfing the Ranch (minus this exception).
Hard studying and cramming may not eat up your gym time, but it can tax you mentally which can eat into your recovery. Is that what you're saying?
My style of studying is more than cramming. My studying is more like drill the abyss out of it.
To get a sense of the depth of
Java compiled code performance on smartphones, I installed
a VNC app as a frontend, then installed Fedora ARM with X server as back end. Then the
VNC front end runs on the 5.3 inch screen of smart phone to open up the Fedora 17 desktop
on the tiny screen. But Fedora 17's ARM build is not a full distribution. So, I ended up piecing
Fedora 17's window manager. But I was not done yet, I never owned a HDTV until when I
was drilling Java. Since Java is so great, why not use the smart phone as primary home PC?
So, I went ahead to buy HDTV and a USB to HDMI converter. But the 4G signal interfere with
the converter. I had to install a different Android ROM. But wait, only 1 ROM builder for the
galaxy note gives the desktop bar so that I could use mouse to operate my smartphone as a
desktop PC. But wait, all 20+ roms I had tried have the 4G signal interference problem. Luckily
I had a year experience working as RF designer. I was able to use Chipotle's foil wrap to
turn off 4G in my apartment. All told, 15 weeks of non-sleeping weekends. Now I know where
the limitation of Java-compiled code in ARMs well better than most people who passed OCPJP.
I went to take a OCPJP exam, and got 57%. Failed. And, by the way, I am a current active CCIE
routing/switching. So, what can Java do to bring end-to-end circuit emulation? I went ahead to
set up java-vpws web site to promote using smart phone's java to create end-to-end circuit emulation.
What kind of Java GUI can we give users to attract them to create end-to-end circuit to their home
from their smart phone? I realize that I will freak people out if I go to public places now. So, I,
counter-intuitively, went out to take the exam and got 66%. Pass. But where were we about muscle
resting or chair sitting nonstop through the night? I don't remember. But I remember java is no good for
end-to-end circuit emulation. And Fedora 17 ARM desktop with Java on smartphone is no use either.
Fedora 17 ARM running in chroot is good though.
