Hi,

May I ask if your book is covering some a little bit about Amazon implementation to Hadoop, that so called Amazon EMR (Elastic MapReduce)?

Mohamed

Hi Mohamed,

my book doesn't cover EMR. I believe "Hadoop in Action" covers EMR to some degree. I've been asked this question a few times, so it's something I'll consider for future revisions to the book.

Thanks for your interest,
Alex

That would be great actually! because Amazon is frequently producing new web services, and EMR is one of these important and strategical one for them ..
