Hi guys,

I've been planning to take the certification exam since 2007 and five years have passed and still have not taken any Java Certification exam. (Due to a lot of procrastination)

My question is which SCJP is the current version that is relevant for me to take? My current project is still using Java 1.5. I've been on this version since I started writing code in Java which is since 2006.

Thanks a lot in advance for your reply.

Regards,
Aris

Hi, you try SCJP/OCP JP 6. it is best option for exam, because OCP7-II still is in beta mode. you can easily upgrade from SCJP6 to 7, Exam cost are all most same.
