So basically I just wanted to read user input while using the graphics package and I found that readInt and readDouble don't work (obviously). Do any of you know what the equivalence of this is in the graphics package? Thanks!!

The "graphics package"? Could you be a bit more specific?

Better still: read our FAQ page TellTheDetails and then be quite a bit more specific. And as for "don't work" we have an FAQ page about that too: ItDoesntWorkIsUseless. Follow those links.

Oh yeah, I mean I imported acm.graphics.* and then extended GraphicsProgram. When i tried using readInt and readDouble the program didn't display the field where you would normally enter a value to be used in the code created. I asume this is because i would need to extend ConsoleProgram instead of GraphicsProgram. But if i want to use graphics AND have the user enter a value while the program is running what would i use?

Welcome to the Ranch

That acm package is not a standard package, but is written for a specific set of tutorials. There ought to be instructions in the tutorials or download link.
