Information regarding OCPJP

I just want to know about the present certification exam for java.is ocpjp 6 being conducted by oracle or it has got replaced by ocpjp 7.

As of now, Oracle conducts both exams: OCPJP 6 and OCPJP 7. For more information (like eligibility, pattern etc.), you can refer to Oracle's official certification site.

I am preparing for the 'OCJP SE 6' certification exam.
But, I get confused when I hear the term OCPJP SE 6.
Anyone please tell me that what is the difference between an 'OCJP SE 6'exam and an 'OCPJP SE 6' exam.
I checked out the Oracle's website but it did not clear the confusion.

OCP JP 7 part-2 exam is still in beta mode. It is better to go for SCJP 6 exam and later go for upgrade.

When I posted this question on the "Beginning Java" forum in the "Learning on your own" topic, I
got a satisfying reply that for Java SE's 6 version, there is the OCPJP exam,
but some people call it 'OCJP' just because it is easier to speak, but it created confusion for me , which is now cleared.
