Hi Friends,

I am new to struts 2.

I tried in running a sample struts 2 application implementing navigate away from error pages.But it is not done.

<interceptors>
<interceptor name="FirstInterceptor" class="org.anand.javaForLearning.FirstInterceptor">
</interceptor>

<interceptor name="SecondInterceptor" class="org.anand.javaForLearning.SecondInterceptor">
</interceptor>

<interceptor name="ThirdInterceptor" class="org.anand.javaForLearning.LoginAction">
</interceptor>

<interceptor-stack name="newStack">
<interceptor-ref name="FirstInterceptor">
</interceptor-ref>
<interceptor-ref name="SecondInterceptor"/>
<interceptor-ref name="ThirdInterceptor">
<param name="validation.excludeMethods">method1</param>
<param name="workflow.excludeMethods">method1</param>
</interceptor-ref>
<interceptor-ref name="params"/>
<interceptor-ref name="timer"/>
<interceptor-ref name="defaultStack"/>
</interceptor-stack>

</interceptors>

<default-interceptor-ref name="newStack"/>

<action name="Login" class="org.anand.javaForLearning.LoginAction">
<interceptor-ref name="newStack">
</interceptor-ref>
<result name="success">Welcome.jsp</result>
<result name="input">login.jsp</result>
<result name="error">error.jsp</result>
</action>

here i have introduced method1 in order to implement the functionality "navigate away from error pages".
But when i run the web application,the control doesnot bother about the method1.

It will be better if any one provide a sample web application that implement "navigate away from error pages" in struts 2

I have googled for a long time but no proper information found( according to my point of view)

Regards,
Anand

Hi,

Can you provide me link for the sample application. And does your application throw error while testing this functionality?

Regards
Jatan

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
