Hi Kali,
Similar to earlier questions about Spring Integration vs ESB and Mule/Camel etc, WebMethods is a complete Suite of products catering to SOA/ESB and full-blown Enterprise Application Integration.
AFAIK Spring Integration provides a subset of that functionality but in an easy to use and cost-effective way.

I'm sure the authors would add quote more to the answer
