i truly enjoyed reading the quick, easy to read, concise introduction to the book in its website - good job!
yet i'm surprised because it doesnt propose almost any javascript: there is a brief chapter, i believe , called "Extending forms with JavaScript", and an apendix; is that all one needs to grab on JS?

Most of chapters 5 and 6 and parts of chapters 2, 3 and 4 use a lot of JavaScript. Generally any subheading which mentions an API is going to be using JavaScript. The preface lists a reading order to avoid the JavaScript if you want.
