I am little bit confused about API,project and product???How all are different??

I suggest you SearchFirst (←click), because those last two terms could mean almost anything.

As for "API": it stands for "Application Programming Interface", and it's basically the visible documentation of a class or application, which explains to a client how to use it.

In Java, it usually takes the form of a Javadoc (eg, the one for java.util.ArrayList) that lists the class's public methods and constructors, along with some narrative about how and when to use them.
