Hi All,

I have just passed the "Oracle Certified Expert, Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6 Enterprise JavaBeans Developer" exam with 95%.

This is what I did to pass the exam:
  • Read the Enterprise JavaBeans 3.1 book from O'Reilly, but then realized that it won't be enough to pass the exam.
  • Read the EJB Specifications 3.1 and summarized only those topics that are relevant to the certification exam into my notes
  • When I finished my notes (92 pages) I started on the Enthuware mock exams (I had an avarage of 75% on the mocks)
  • When I finished the mocks I started cramming my notes

  • I have used Enthuware for my previous certifications (SCJP5 and SCWCD5) and I really love this product. The questions are asked in a way that you can expect on the exam and have about the same difficulty level. This time, for the first time, I dared to press the "discuss" button to talk about the questions and answers. Answers and corrections where given and confirmed quickly! Thanks Paul Anilprem (and other support members) I really appreciate it!

When writing my notes I got our fellow rancher Piotr Nowicki to review them. Thanks man I really appreciate it!

Feel free to use my notes, I have put them in the notes section of the ScbcdLinks. If there are any mistakes, suggestions, remarks: please don't hesitate to contact me.

For me this was the first time that I took an exam at Pearson Vue and I must say I liked it. There are no drag-and-drop questions anymore (making it easier), and I find the software nicer. You can mark questions, you can strike out answers, and it tells you when you have not filled in all the answers (I had 3 answers where the question required 4 answers). Furthermore the result is shown to you before you get the print out at the reception!

Kind regards and good luck to those ones who are preparing!
