I am from Mumbai, India and just started my career in IT industry after B.E. in 2010. I got a profile of Oracle DBA in a small firm, and was okay with it, since I did not get any campus recruitment. However i always had a liking for JAVA.
Its been 2 yrs, that I am a Production DBA, doing 24 X 7 shift :-( and I wanted to make a switch to JAVA.
My questions were
1) How difficult will it be for me to make a breakthrough, according to the the current market conditions.
2) How do I go about it. (Training centres, certifications)
3) DO MNC's accept candidates like me. Is anyone in similar condition like mine.
4) Please seniors give your honest opinions.
