Hi,

I'm new to Spring.I like to know is there any validation frameworks avaliable in Spring, like we have validation rules in Struts.

Spring i came across only Validator class ,which we need to implement and override validate method,Validation logic is to be written in this method

Where as in struts we have the validation rules, which will enable dynamic creation of Java Script functions so that the validtaions will be handled at the client side itself.

Which one will be the best method to use ,whether to validate user input at client side itself or to take validations to server and throw back error messages if any.

In most of the projects which I handle 10% of the time goes for form validtaions, like manadory fields,e-mail validations,is a numeric value,is a integer value etc..

Thanks and Regards
