Hi All,
I recently attended an interview for an MNC and cleared the technical discussion. I was asked to fill in a form with my educational and experience details and was told that there would be a telephonic discussion with the HR the following week. Its been 2 weeks and I heard nothing from them. Should I call them back and ask for status or should I wait ? Please advice.

It could be they found someone else. It could be they are slow. It could be they don't want you.

I don't see any harm in calling to follow up.

as per my experience it depends on your interview remarks. if interview was very good they will surely call you back. my experience. or else you can get HR email from any of your friend working in that company and ask about status.

Call them. HR people seem to think we should wait for them, since everybody is begging to get the job. Example: I once had two interviews, which went positively. Then I should have a talk with the HR person. She went on vacation for 3 weeks. After 1 week I had another offer, and accepted that one. Two weeks later she called and I said I already long time had another job. She was surprised, mad and insulted. HR people are just annoying and arrogant. They cannot imagine anyone would not wait humbly for ever to meet with the gods that decide if you get the position. I do not like 'm, but I guess I have said that a thousand times before here, and you're all getting bored with that. ;)
