Hi
Below is the code I want to execute . It is for simple download manager . I configured the class in a project in eclipse and executed it as "Run as" "Java Application" . But everytime i receive "Connect Exception" . Do I need to deploy his on sever ? If yes , hen how should i go ahead with deployment with weblogic 10.3 deployment
Please help . This is a little urgent for me .

The url is fine, nothing looks wrong with your code too. Make sure when you are executing this code, you have a valid connection and there is no firewall issue.

Hi Swastik ,

I have one doubt , Will it connect to Internet and download from there if we are running from eclipse ( just like command prompt and not with web application).
If yes then ok else i think she needs to deploy on server.

I don't think it has got any thing to do with server deployment. It's a desktop application that uses URLConnection class to read stream from a given url.

Thanks guys for your replies . Actually he application is not working with internet files . But when I deployed the file in weblogic and gave the url with http port configuration then it downloaded he file and saved it in the project workspace .
Dont know why ...still confused .
