hfsj chapter 10 cooperating tags doubt ?

please refer hfsj 2nd edition, chapter 10, page 572-573. following is an example of co-operating tags example given at the above mentioned pages




following is the tag invocation given :



my doubt is since the child tags are empty(no body content) then why does the doStartTag() method of the MenuItem class return EVAL_BODY_INCLUDE. ?? it can return SKIP_BODY, right?

Correct! You are right, as there is no body, there is no need to evaluate it.
