I refer to the Spring MVC tutorial part 1 at Spring MVC step-by-step Part 1

My question is: how does Spring knows that it needs to look for a bean called urlMapping (which contains the mapping to tell Spring which controller to invoke)? As far as I know, this bean could be called anything.
