Hi, i am new to frameworks but i would like to learn about them because every web developer/java job where i live includes Hibernate, spring or JPA.
I have been programming for about half a year, i am confident in core java, JSP, Servlets, but i know nothing about databases, now i would like to learn more about frameworks so i guess my questions are:
1. is there anything else i should learn before i start learning about frameworks?
2. could anyone recommend any good books for learning any of these frameworks seeing as i learn best when i am reading a book? i have seen these books:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spring-Action-Craig-Walls/dp/1935182358/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1358091254&sr=8-2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hibernate-Made-Easy-Persistence-Annotations/dp/0615201954/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1358091275&sr=1-1
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Java-Persistence-Hibernate-Christian-Bauer/dp/1932394885/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1358091275&sr=1-2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hibernate-Action-Practical-Relational-Mapping/dp/193239415X/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1358091275&sr=1-3
but none of these get good reviews or appeal to me, any help is appreciated, Thanks
