Hi Author,

I haven't tried to develop a JEE application. But I heard Spring Framework is quite hot. And most developers choose Spring rather than the J2EE framework by Sun, now Oracle. Does the situation change a little nowadays?

Spring is popular, but I would not call it a standard, defacto or otherwise.

Where did you get your statistics regarding the prevalence of its use? Or is it just something you heard?
