Which one should i use for a better performance generating reports Jasper Report or jXLS?  RSS feed

In my work we are using jasper reports since a while. But we have been going through some performance issues because of using jasper to generate some reports. So, i was wondering if change those reports to jxls, i'll improve the performance.
