Dividing JSP page's vertically

Hi,
I am building a web application using struts & tiles (1.3 ) framework. On the jsp I want to show menu bar on the left hand side. But not getting how can I divide pages vertically in tiles. Please advice.

If you want divide a html page you should user divs and mark it using css.

You could use something like this

 .leftMenu {
   float: left;
   width: 30%;
 }
 .rightMenu {
   float: left;
   width: 70%;
 }
</style>
.....
<div class="leftMenu ">
<tiles:insert page="/menu.jsp" flush="true"/>
</div>

<div class="rightMenu ">
</div>

....
