The word render is not tapestry specific; in tapestry, it has the same meaning as it does in English; for more on the meaning of the word render, consult a dictionary.

Mmm...I am afraid none of the dictionaries are regular members of Javaranch.

dictionary@reference.com might help though.

All right. Here is something that will really help you - HowToAskQuestionsOnJavaRanch

To expound on it further, IMHO, you would have gotten more help if you stated what You understand the word render to mean, and why you think that you do not understand it fully, and need help.

The bottomline is that when you ask a question, you want to clearly show that you made an effort to find an answer first, and are not just asking other people to do it for you.

And when someone makes a suggestion ("consult a dictionary" - Anselm), tell them whether or not you followed it, and what the result was.
