I would like to get help, currently i need to have a setup of Eclipse + Jboss + Primefaces to work with JSF. I have basic background with java, not really deep but also have intermediate background in HTML/CSS, a little of PHP. I've tried searching up in the net but the tutorials are either way in Netbeans or Glassfish. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the JavaRanch!

Your IDE should not be a major consideration. If you can't work with JSF unless you have an IDE, you're simply hobbling on crutches.

One of the best introductions to JSF I know of is a 4-part IBM DeveloperWorks series called "JSF for Non-Believers". Although it's pretty old, the advice it gives still applies.
