Does anyone know whether the second edition of "Spring in action" covering Spring 2.0 is available in India yet?

I have been reading the first edition of Spring in action. I have completed about 250 pages. Only recently I came to know that the first edition covers Spring 1.2, but the latest version is Spring 2.0 covered by the second edition.

I now feel like hanging myself for wasting 2 months reading an outdated book

"BM.Sathiesh",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Sorry to report that SiA2E isn't even available in the U.S. yet. And nobody's more eager for it to hit the shelves than I am (unless it's my wife). I'm still trying to wrap up the final edits on it (would go faster if it weren't for those pesky editors telling me what I did wrong!). :-)

Of course, I know that you're next question is "When will it be available?" I'm hesitant to give that answer, because there are so many variables in play. Amazon says June...maybe...maybe not. No promises.

But you can go to http://www.manning.com/walls3 and sign up for the MEAP program. That lets you see chapters as they become available and then get the real book later.
