hello Ranchers,
I am in trouble.
I am using Netbeans IDE 7.2.1.
My database records are vanishing every time when I am building my application.
I hav stored my database in MyApplication/build/web/WEB-INF/database/gsm_db.accdb

Actually i hav made some changes manually in database( like creating new tables, addding new columns ).

And when i have build my application the modified records have deleted totally....
Do I need to take backup every time before building.
Or create a new database and use..

And how to make changes in database after using in netbeans...

plis help me...

Thank in advance.........

Mandar

Mandar, you should not be putting anything in Netbeans build folder. This is for Netbeans' output based on the files you create in the src and web folders. In the clean and build process, the contents of the build folder are cleared before being produced from the web, src and other folders. In other words, you can create files or folders underneath the YourApplication/web/WEB-INF folder (an input folder), but not the YourApplication/build/web/WEB-INF folder (an output folder).
