hi,

i need to connect to mysql database for my application.i am doing my database connectivity with asyntask.i am able to connect with databse and reteive data but i am receiving some errors while running in my emulator.. these are my errors

1.Could not find method javax.naming.Reference.get, referenced from method com.mysql.jdbc.ConnectionPropertiesImpl$Connection Property.initializeFrom

2.Could not find class 'javax.naming.StringRefAddr', referenced from method com.mysql.jdbc.ConnectionPropertiesImpl$Connection Property.storeTo

3.Could not find method java.lang.management.ManagementFactory.getThreadMX Bean, referenced from method com.mysql.jdbc.MysqlIO.appendDeadlockStatusInforma tion

how can i correct this? any help

You need to find an Android-compatible version of the Mysql driver, the one you're using needs Java functionality that Android doesn't have. I'm not sure if such a driver exists - using JDBC over the internet is not a good idea for security reasons, so few people do it.
