Passed OCAJP 7 (98%) and OCPJP 7 (78%)

Hi All,

I have passed those two exams recently. My study experience is that I practice all enthuware mock exams until i understand all the explanations in the mocks . It took me a few times to understand all the tricks in those mocks. I'm going to take 1z0-899 exam next month.

How were questions in OCPJP 7 exam ? Difficulty wise does it match with enthuware mock exam ? How did you prepare please share your experience.Thanks

How was the questions compared to mock test? If we get 70 to 80 % in mock tests can we pass the exam?

The questions are quite easier than enthuware mock exams I think. However, there are a quite a few questions that have one exactly right answer and one almost right answer and that's why I scored only 78% .

Associate exam is not a pre-requisite right for the programmer exam? I can just take the 1Z0-804 directly right.

No. I just saw in the Ganesh & Sharma book that both 83 and 84 have to be passed before they would give the certificate...another rip off to be dealt with.

Don't put incorrect information.I don't know what author thought but for each certification exam you will get a certificate.OCA certificate for 83 and OCP certificate for 84.

Yes. The author says that 83 is pre-req for 84. You have to pass both to get the programmer certificate.

What i said do you understand ? i said you will get certificate for each exam not like after only completion of both exam.

Here check this Java SE 7 Certification: Raising The Bar. "the OCP Java SE 7 certification now requires you to hold the Associate level Java certification before you can achieve your OCP credential. Certified Java Associates can pursue the OCP certification by completing exam 1Z0-804."

It wasnt like that for Java 6. YOU NEED BOTH 83 AND 84 TO GET OCP...84 ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH...MEETA!
